Ringing Change is the newsletter of Genesis project, which is involved in making sure carers and service users are able to have their say about how mental health services are planned and run in the City of Leicester.

Genesis is made up of the two groups, the Open Assembly and the In Touch group.

The Open Assembly is an open group welcoming people from all cultures and backgrounds within Leicester. All members have experienced some form of mental distress and may or may not have used mental health services.

In Touch is the formal carers reference group for Leicester. It actively liaises with individuals and its work are informed by insights and representation from various carers' support and discussion groups throughout the City
