Leicestershire County Council Service Review
Leicestershire County Council have created a web page their website to help them communicate with service users, carers, service providers, council staff, representative groups and the public on the strategic review of commissioned services, which is taking place during 2010-11.
Leicestershire County Council wish to change their services in line with the agendas for local government efficiencies and transforming services for personalisation. This means providing services that not only offer choice and greater control but also value for money for all citizens in Leicestershire.
The Council would like to find out your views and encourage feedback in relation to services that the County Council commissions currently and in the future from independent and voluntary sector providers.
Current services being consulted on are:
- Home care
- Older persons independent residential and nursing care
- Reviews of direct services provided by volunteer centres and Voluntary Action
Further consultations will take place over the coming months with regards to specific services provided by the voluntary sector. Updates will be included on the web page when information becomes available.
