Acute Care Forum

The aim of the Acute Care Forum is to enable the requirements of the National Service Framework (NSF) for mental health to be met. It will scrutinise and improve standards of local acute mental health care for people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Forum is made up of people who have experience of using mental health services, their carers, and those working in mental health (including representatives from the voluntary sector, local authorities and health services).

Mental Health Promotion

Standard One of the National Service Framework for mental health
requires the development of a local mental health promotion strategy and action plan. This task has been taken forward through a steering group, which has a diverse membership with nominated representation from across the community. The web site provides information about the group, its work and mental health promotion resources.

Remit

Remit is a community education mental health project providing a wide range of courses for adults with mental health diffculties. You can search their database for a course of interest to you.
