About the Mental Health Promotion Group

This is a multi-agency partnership covering Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. It was re-established in October 2004.

Terms of reference

  1. To develop a strategy and action plan which:
  1. Make recommendations arising from the action plan to relevant partners, services and projects.
  1. To monitor and review the implementation of the action plan on an annual basis.
  1. To evaluate the impact of the action plan.
  1. To refresh / up date action plan every three years.
  1. Review the current mental health promotion provision against the evidence base, identifying any gaps in provision and making recommendations how these should be met.
  1. Review existing monitoring and evaluation tools and where necessary support the development and improvement of them.
  1. Identify Key partners, services, agencies and initiatives we need to work in alliance with.
