Mental Health Information Service
Your mental health affects all that you are and everything that you do. So if you, or the person you care for, experience one of the many forms of mental distress, it is important to get the right support, information and guidance. Whether you are personally affected by mental distress or care for someone, or whether you work in the field of mental health, LAMP's Information Service can help.
The Advocacy & Information Co-ordinator will give you time to talk through your particular circumstances or concerns. This may help to clarify the type of information which will be most helpful to you at this time.
The information department produces the LAMP Directory of mental health services in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and also maintains this community web site.
Information sessions are held monthly for people who want to know more about LAMP. If you are studying or working within a related field, these sessions will equip you with an overview of what LAMP can offer you and the people you work with.
Mental Health Information Service Leaflet
LAMP's Mental Health Information Service leaflet is available in Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Somali and Urdu. A version in Braille is also available upon request.
